Registration of Stay
Owners of holiday homes or apartments in the areas of Stari Grad, Rudina, Vrbanj, Dol, Basine and Selci are required to register with the Stari Grad City Tourist Board and pay a residence tax during their stay at the house or apartment.
Should owners of holiday homes or apartments who already pay a flat rate for holiday home and apartment owners, register the stay with the Stari Grad City Tourist Board?
The owner of the holiday house or apartment is obliged to register his / her stay with the Tourist Board, and the stay of all persons in that house or apartment, within 24 hours upon their arrival, and also to register their departure on the last day of stay.
How much is the flat rate for owners of holiday houses or apartments?
Flat rate for owners of houses or holiday apartments in Stari Grad is:
- 60 kuna per person for the first two people
- 25 kuna for each additional person
Flat rate for owners of holiday homes or flats in Vrbanj, Dol, Rudina, Basine and Selce is:
- 30 kuna per person for the first two people
- 12 kuna for each additional person
When registering stay with the Tourist Board, it’s necessary to bring a passport or ID of all immediate family members registering for a stay at the home or apartment.
