Whether you’re a professional sailor or just a lover of sea and boats, if you know which port your headed for, the wind will surely take you there.
When you sail into the 6-nautical-miles-deep Stari Grad Bay, where the blueness of the sea melts into the green of the Stari Grad Plain, you’ll understand why in 384 BC the first sailors from the island of Paros decided that this very port will be their final destination.
The nautical Port of Stari Grad is located in the very town centre, right next to the Tvrdalj of Petar Hektorović, and it’s certainly one of the most beautiful ones in the Adriatic. With its 120 equipped berths, it spans the north and west side of the Stari Grad Bay, and it’s visited yearly by more than 8000 vessels, making it one of the busiest ports on the Adriatic.
