Gala concert: 150 years of Stari Grad brass band

The first musical society in Stari Grad was founded under the name Banda Cittadina (City Music) whose 1876 statute testifies to the first organised woodwind orchestra and the cultivation of the musical culture of Stari Grad.

Today, 150 years later, new generations maintain the rich musical tradition and participate in all state, folk and church holidays, making it an indispensable part of cultural and social daily life in Stari Grad.

We will celebrate 150th anniversary of their founding with a grand commemorative concert at Tvrdalj square.
