From the Charter of Pharos Town Day

…‘Twas the year 384 BC when the founders, settling by the sea, built a town to fulfill the ancient prophecy of a town to which there will be no end if it is born on the solstice!

And so it was that the cornerstone was placed on the equinox and the long-lasting city of Pharos was born – a champion of urban civilisation in our region – at the same time as the opening of the 99th ancient Olympic games was celebrated, and therefore our town, symbolically tied to this event, celebrates its anniversary on September 9 – Day of the Pharos Town, the birthday of the oldest town in our homeland of Croatia.

Propisi za vlasnike kuća ili stanova za odmor

Vlasnici kuća ili stanova za odmor na području grada Starog Grada, Rudina, Vrbanja, Dola, Basine, Selci dužni su se prijaviti u Turističkoj zajednici grada Staroga Grada te platiti boravišnu pristojbu za vrijeme boravka u kući ili stanu za odmor.
Prilikom prijave boravka u Turističkoj zajednici potrebno je donjeti putovnicu ili osobnu iskaznicu svih članova uže obitelji koji prijavljuju boravak u kući ili stanu.
